Good Things Festival, Australia’s favourite alternative east coast summer music festival is almost upon us and it continues to bring the good news.
As a strong supporter of Australian music and talent, Good Things Festival is giving 3 up-and coming bands the opportunity to perform at this year’s festival. You’ll have the chance to share the stage with some of Australia’s and the worlds biggest alternative acts and win a range of prizes to assist in your bands long-term development.
The 15 artists with the most votes in each city will be invited to play a series of heats where one winner will be picked per heat to compete in the finals for their chance to perform at Good Things Festival 2024 and win an array of prizes aimed to assist their long-term development including a merchandise package for your band from Love Police, Flyer and Poster pack from Shout Out Loud, Tour Trailer or Animated poster from One Eighty Creative + consultations with some of the best in alternative music from managers, booking agents, publicists, social media managers and more to set you up for success and give you the tools to benefit your career well beyond the festival.

Preheat voting
• Voting will be via the GTF website
• Each person who signs up can vote up to 3 bands
• Preheat voting will be open for 1 week
• Top 15 bands in each state will be selected to compete in 1 of 3 of the heats
3 x GUEST JUDGES PER HEAT - Voting out of 5 on the below topics (total of 25)

• Singing/songwriting skill
• Instrumental skill
• Overall performance
1 token upon entry plus 1 token every $5 spent
Including; non alcoholic drinks, alcoholic drinks and food from the venues
Voting will be calculated by adding the total tokens received via fan vote plus the judge vote (max of 25 points x 3)
Eg; Band 1 receives 76 tokens via fan voting plus a score of 40/75 via judge voting
