As a strong supporter of Australian music and talent, Good Things Festival is giving 3 up-and coming bands the opportunity to perform at this year’s festival. You’ll have the chance to share the stage with some of Australia’s and the worlds biggest alternative acts and win a range of prizes to assist in your bands long-term development.

‍Preheat Voting:

• Voting takes place on the Good Things Festival website.
• Each person can vote for up to three bands to help them move forward.
• Voting starts Monday, 21st October and stays open for one week.
• The top 15 bands in each city will advance to the next round of heats.

Heats & Scoring:

• Five bands per heat perform 20-minute sets for a chance to advance to the finals.
• A panel of three guest judges scores performances across:
• Crowd pull and engagement
• Songwriting and instrumental skill
• Overall stage presence
• Fan Voting at Heats:

Fans earn voting tokens:

• One token on entry.
• Additional tokens for every $5 spent on food, drinks, and merchandise.
• Final scores = fan tokens + judge scores (max 75 points).
◦ Example: A band with 76 fan tokens plus 40 judge points gets a total of 116 points.
